Fund the people doing the work.

Help pay for the maintenance you depend on.

Choose a maintainer whose work you use and follow their sponsorship link. You give directly through their chosen funding page; Maintenance Art does not collect or distribute the money.

These are three places to start. Each maintainer’s page explains their work and current sponsorship options. Choose a one-time or recurring contribution that fits your circumstances.

John Blackbourn

Maintains Query Monitor, WP Crontrol and User Switching: tools that help people diagnose problems and manage WordPress sites.

Pascal Birchler

Contributes to WordPress, Gutenberg and WP-CLI, and maintains projects including Preferred Languages. His sponsorship page describes support for ongoing open source contributions.

Andy Fragen

Maintains WordPress tools including Git Updater and contributes to WordPress Core. His projects help people maintain plugins and themes hosted in Git repositories.

Start with what your work depends on

Look at the plugins and tools you use, find their maintainers, and check for an official Donate or Sponsor link. If your business relies on their work, consider making sponsorship a recurring business expense.

For more WordPress contributors seeking support, explore SponsorMeWP. Follow each contributor’s own funding instructions.
